You were kind enough to clone my VX8 .... well I bought my own software and cable .... read the radio alright but when I try to write to the radio I get an error message saying wrong radio ID. Looks like the trobule may be that your radio is modified ( open) and mine is not. Can you send me your file that you use and I will try to import to my software and give it a try.
