Google Voice google.com/voice

This is one of my favorite tools. I use multiple phone #’s as way to keep group and home life somewhat separate. I also use this as a notification tool as well. Example Send out a message to your members asking who is available for an event or telling them something that needs more space than a txt message and a faster response then an email. You just login and change the outgoing voicemail message. This is also a great way to have one # to give out to served agencies and tell them this is how you contact us. You can add several #’s for GV to forward to. So if one person is not available then someone else who is could answer the call. Since all of our leadership carries smart phones we just set this to send it directly to voicemail and then have that going to an email group which forwards the message to all leaders who need it.
